FAQs
Q: What type of schools do you place teacher in?
A: We specialise in placements at school based in remote locations in the NT and QLD. These are often in remote Indigenous communities.

Q: What year levels do you recruit to?
A: We fill teaching positions from preschool all the way through to year 12. There are also opportunities to work in family education, special ed, and specialist programs. The majority of positions are for primary school teachers.

Q: What is the makeup of classrooms in remote schools?
A: It varies a lot depending on the size of the school. Some classrooms in larger schools are single year level, whereas classrooms in some small homelands schools could have students from Transition to year 12 all in the one room. The most common scenario would be a composite classroom; with students from years 2-3 for example.

Q: How remote is remote?
A: Again, this varies from location to location. Some remote communities are quite large, with their own hospital, supermarket and restaurants. Some are very small, with just local homes and the school. Some are only a short drive to a bigger town, whereas others could be hours' drive away, or even a flight, if the roads are inaccessible.

Q: Do you couple friends or partners together?
A: Yes, if you are a teaching couple, or you want to work with a friend, we will aim to find the right school with multiple teaching positions available.

Q: How much do teachers' pay for this recruitment service?
A: Nothing. We support teachers to find employment in remote schools free of charge.
